GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BUSINESS OF MESSE OFFENBACH GMBH FOR THE SALE OF TICKETS ON THE INTERNET

When ordering admission tickets, the Customer accepts the following General Terms and Conditions of Business of Messe Offenbach GmbH for the sale of tickets on the Internet:

1. Upon acceptance of the order for tickets by Messe Offenbach GmbH (us) a contract is concluded exclusively between the Customer (Purchaser of the ticket) and us. The contract is concluded when the Customer ends the order process by clicking the "Buy now" button on the Internet.

2. We do not accept any warranty for the correctness of the data on the Internet site.

The following payment methods are accepted for online orders: Visa Card, Master Card, American Express, instant bank transfer or Maestro. Tickets will either

  • be sent to the Customer via a mail delivery service (DHL, UPS, Deutsche Post etc.) or
  • be sent to the Customer via a mail delivery service (DHL, UPS, Deutsche Post etc.) or by e-mail as a PDF attachment, depending on which is most convenient; the ticket is also the Customer's invoice. If the ticket is sent by e-mail, it can be printed from the Internet. Each ticket has its own bar code which is scanned and verified at the entrance to the event.
  • If the ticket is lost and/or abused, the Customer has no right to be admitted to the event or be refunded for the ticket.

The contract may not be cancelled. The Customer has no basic entitlement to return the ticket. If tickets are returned because the event is cancelled (ILM), the ticket price will only be refunded if the ticket is returned at the latest 4 weeks after the scheduled date of the event. If tickets were purchased online, the printed tickets should be sent by post or e-mail to the following address:

Messe Offenbach GmbH
Kaiserstraße 108–112
63065 Offenbach am Main
info@messe-offenbach.de

5. If we send tickets electronically (by e-mail), delivery is considered to have been effected as soon as the data has been properly sent. If the e-mail does not reach the Customer or if the Customer loses the ticket, we are not obliged to replace it. If we send the ticket by post, delivery is considered to have been effected as soon as the ticket has been handed over to the delivery company.

6. The Customer acknowledges that image or sound recordings may be made of our website and explicitly accepts this when buying the ticket. He also also accepts that these image recordings may be shown on a screen or published on websites or other social media channels.

7. Tickets may not be resold to third parties. The ILM is a trade fair for trade visitors only. The Customer declares that he is a trade visitor. We are entitled to refuse admission if we find that the Customer is not a trade visitor, especially if the Customer is an end consumer.

8. The ticket loses its validity when the Customer leaves the event venue with the exception of tickets that explicitly allow admission on several successive days.
